With our adventure complete we are returning to land and priced her realistically for a quick and easy sale. She has been thoroughly serviced and now rests in the Ionian Sea, Greece, awaiting her next adventure, with you at the helm.
Hauled out in Aktio Yard, just five minutes by taxi from Aktion National Airport (Preveza Airport) and twenty minutes from the lively little town of Preveza, a fine spot to linger for a few days while viewing. A proven and respected bluewater cruiser, she has been upgraded where it counts: new LiFePO₄ Battle Born lithium batteries (2022), new tri-radial sails with full ACMO rigging replacement (2019), and a prized Yamaha 15hp 2-stroke outboard (2023).
Her design is true to Amel’s reputation for seaworthiness: a robust winged stud keel and full skeg-hung rudder provide excellent tracking, superior protection, and a reassuring seakindliness, all while keeping her surprisingly easy to handle. No flimsy bolt-on fin keels or fragile spade rudders here!
The engine shows 8,890 hours (an upper estimate), but has been meticulously cared for with annual or biannual servicing, most recently in August 2025. The injector pump and injectors were serviced in 2023, a new raw water pump installed in May 2025, and fresh engine mounts fitted in July 2025. Twin Racor filters were added in 2019. She carries a Volvo Penta TMD22 - essentially a rebadged Perkins Prima - making spares inexpensive and easily sourced, particularly from the UK.
Since her most recent haul-out, she has had a full round of maintenance: oil and filters replaced, propeller serviced, outboard serviced, fresh antifoul applied, new anodes fitted, and her hull, topsides, and deck waxed, polished, and detailed. Even the engine bay has been scrubbed clean. Inside, she boasts new carpets and a bright, refreshed feel throughout.
As a unique bonus, the YouTube archives “Mothership Adrift” and “Mothership Maintenance” document her entire voyage and upkeep, offering hundreds of hours of video footage—rare transparency for a buyer, and a ready-made instruction manual and video archive for her next skipper.
