CAL 33

This 1987 Cal 33 is ready to race or cruise.  She’s in great shape and in excellent running condition. She makes a comfortable coastal cruiser for a family, while also being great for club racing (especially with her hull painted annually with VC-17). All lines lead back to the cockpit which makes this boat suited for shorthanded sailing. Whether you are going out for a quick sail by yourself, a weekend away with kids, or cruising for multiple weeks with your partner, this boat is the right size to do it all. Comes with a new Bimini cockpit canvas (2020) which is perfect for staying out of the sun.

This 33′ racer/cruiser has a very functional and innovative layout. Sleeps 6; 2-person double berth aft, 2-person settee/berth in main cabin and 2-person double V-berth in the bow. There is a standup shower and toilet.  Hot water 110v, and 6’ cu ft ice box. Propane fired gimballed stove & oven, and numerous varnished storage lockers throughout. Main and #135 furling jib (new in 2018), 2 cockpit self-tailing barient winches, 1 traveler, 2 halyards.

The Cal33  is a great example of a Ray Hunt Design cruiser / racer. 6’5” keel with a tall mast make this a great PHRF boat in any wind condition. Her solid fiberglass hull and keel stepped mast will give you confidence sailing anywhere. She is turnkey and ready to cruise.
